I just wanted to let you all know about my previous experience at Wal Mart.
I was assigned to do a Science assessment for two kids at the school that I work at. The assessment was to take pictures of 3-5 Eco-friendly items and 3-5 non Eco-friendly items. The lead teacher assigned me to go to Wal Mart as this was done last year at the school. I followed what the teacher said a took a two students in a school van to Wal Mart and while doing the assessment one of the managers of Wal Mart told us that we were not allowed to finish the assessment. I told him that I was with the school district and showed him my badge and the assessment paper work.
He responded with "We don't care. This is a corporate decision."
The manager then escorted the two students that I was with to the door like we were common criminals and was very rude in dealing with us throughout this process.
We eventually finished the assessment at another store and they were very courteous and very helpful in allowing us to finish what the state requires us to do.
I just want to let you know that is was my experience so you can plan accordingly.
